LIFE
BY: BETTY ANN SHEPPARD DULCIE

So take what life gives you
Do with it what you may.
But make it great as you go and
Live it day by day.

With head held up, eyes straight
out to the far distant hill.
Tread softly on life's Golden Sands
Leave the Golden footprints stamped plainly
for this is what life will mill.

When youth has gone, and we
sit and the only thing
is the far away look.
we know that we only began to live,
We know, We once read a Great Book.

We know of a land much greater than this
And it's easier this time around.
So trust in God, pray a lot,
and keep your feet planted solidly on the
ground.
